Heartsaver CPR/AED-Adult This course teaches lay rescuers how to give CPR, how to use an AED (automatic external defibrillator), and how to provide relief of choking. Program length 2 hours. (Optional modules – child CPR/AED/choking, infant CPR and Choking available- additional course time 1 hour each option). 2 year course completion certification card.
Heartsaver First Aid-Adult The Heartsaver First Aid Course provides rescuers with the knowledge to recognize emergencies and give first aid. This course covers medical, injury and environmental emergencies. Program length 3 hours. 2 year course completion certification card.
State approved Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid, CPR, AED - Adult, Child, Infant
(Daycare centers, camp counselors Preschool staff)
This course teaches lay rescuers how to give CPR, how to use an AED (automatic external defibrillation), choking, medical, injury environmental emergencies, and child safety issues. Program length 6 hours. 2 year course completion certification card.
Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogen
This course is for anyone working with a possible exposure to blood or blood –containing materials. It teaches what bloodborne pathogens are and how they are spread, protection from exposure and what to do if exposed, how to clean up after an exposure, and reporting exposures. OSHA Compliant. 1 hour. 1 year course completion certification card.
Family and Friends CPR- Adult This course is a non-certified course for general community/personal education. Program length 1 hour. (Optional modules for child and infant CPR, and choking available- additional course time 1 hour).
Family and Friends First Aid For Children This course is a non-certified course for general community/personal education. It covers topics as preventing injuries, basic first aid emergencies for children and choking for infants. Program length 1 hour.
Pet First Aid Adopt a Dog in conjunction with Greenwich Emergency Medical Service offer a First Aid and CPR courses for Pets. The two agencies have joined forces to assure pet owners, pet sitters, Pet groomers, Pet boarders, Pet daycare staff and kennel staff is prepared to handle illnesses and accidents for their dogs and cats. Adopt-A-Dog is a dog and cat rescue organization serving New York, Connecticut and beyond for nearly three decades. Greenwich EMS recognizes the need to offer training for pet owners so they can provide care for their “extended family”. Program Length 2 hours. Salvacorazones Primeros Auxilios para Adultos Este curso de Primeros Auxilios le proporciona al participante la capacidad de reconocer situaciones de emergencia y la capacitación necesaria para auxiliar a personas necesitadas. Este curso cubre emergencias médicas, ambientales, y lesiones físicas. La clase dura dos horas y la certificación es valida por dos años.
Salvacorazones RCP (Preanimación Cardiopulmonar) y DEA (Desfibrilador externo automatizado) para Adultos, Niños, y Bebes Este curso enseña a los socorristas cómo suministrar RCP y los métodos más eficaces de auxilio para adultos, niños y bebes que se estan ahogando. La clase dura tres horas y la certificación es valida por dos años.
Familiares y Amigos RCP (Preanimación Cardiopulmonar) para Adultos y Niños Este curso ofrece educación general de preanimación cardiopulmonar para la comunidad y conocimiento personal. El participante no recibe un certificado. La clase dura una hora con la opción de educarse en los métodos de RCP para bebes - tiempo adicional de una hora.
Familiares y Amigos Primeros Auxilios para Niños Este curso ofrece educación general de primeros auxilios para la comunidad y conocimiento personal. El participante no recibe un certificado. El curso cubre temas como la prevención de lesiones, emergencias, métodos de primeros auxilios para niños y como auxiliar un bebe que se esté ahogando. La clase dura una hora.

Adult/Child Kit The Family & Friends CPR Anytime Personal Learning Program allows families, friends and the general public–to learn the core skills of CPR in just 22 minutes using their own personal kit. The kit contains everything needed to learn basic CPR, and skills can be learned anywhere, from the comfort of a family home to a large community group setting. The kit includes a manikin, a self instruction DVD in English & Spanish, and reference guides. Anytime kit is a cost-effective way for the entire family to learn CPR at home.

A few other features of CPR Anytime kit:
  • DVD includes additional information on AEDs, choking, child CPR, and barrier devices for those users who want to learn more
  • Personal CPR manikin (Mini Anne) is realistic for learning skills of CPR
  • Take-home, personal kit makes it convenient to refresh skills often
Infant Kit The Infant CPR Anytime Kit, endorsed by The American Heart Association and The American Academy of Pediatrics, allows families, friends, and others who care for infants to learn the core skills of infant CPR and relief of choking in just 22 minutes. Train as many as you would like with this one kit. The kit includes a manikin, a self instruction DVD in English & Spanish, and reference guides.
