It is highly recommended that all public and private entities consider how best to plan for an emergency before it occurs. GEMS provides free consultation to any school, corporation, or business in the formulation of an emergency response plan.

GEMS will send a professional to your site to tour the facility and interview your staff. We can then customize a plan to ensure maximum efficiency if GEMS needs to respond to your location, and can recommend training or equipment you might need.

We will also consult, free of charge, with any private entity interested in acquiring an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) for their location. The deployment of AEDs to treat sudden cardiac arrest has been endorsed by the American Heart Association and protected by the State of Connecticut Good Samaritan statutes for the past ten years.

While GEMS does not sell medical equipment, we can make recommendations about what type of unit to purchase. Please call the GEMS Training Division at 203-637-7505.

"The crew that took care of Elizabeth was fantastic!  They were wonderful, very attentive, and made everything calmer and were so sincere. It was a touching gesture to have them follow up with her at the hospital.  A++!"
