The EMT program educates and prepares the student to be eligible upon successfully completing the class to take the State and National examinations for Emergency Medical Technician certification.
Students accomplish this rigorous curriculum through an intense blended educational model, including virtual and in-person lectures, online education, and in-person practical skill sessions. Upon successfully completing the course, the student will have the skills, knowledge, and confidence to perform as an EMT.
Our students will also complete clinical rotations as allowed by current safety standards at Greenwich Hospital and on the Ambulance under close observation by clinical staff. These rotations will enable students to test their knowledge with real-life situations and patients.
The minimum age to enroll is 16 by the completion, of course, with parental consent. Tuition includes all necessary educational tools and supplies.
